Shunichi Domoto is a talented sportie 5th grade boy who is used to help sport teams in his school. He enters a Yoyo duel against a bully boy called Benkei to help his friend, Beso, to get back his Yoyo which was stolen by the bully. He won in the yoyo battle with Benkei. However, after that, he meets the exceptionally gifted Yoyo-er, Seito Hojoin who beat him because he ridiculed Yoyo game .So, Shunichi enters the Japan`s Yoyo championship to get his revenge with Seito Hojoin.
Throughout this Championship, Shuniji learns new Yoyo Skills and meets powerful rivals.

Super YOYO Synopsis
Episode 1 : First Encounter with Yoyo
Shunichi was a Sportsman, from baseball to free-style skipping. One day, a classmate, Beso, asked Shunichi to help him to compete yoyo skills with Benkei. Suddenly, he found that he did not know how to play with a yoyo. However, he managed to master 10 yoyo skills within 3 days and beat Benkei. He decided to train hard to be a yoyo professional master after he met 2 yoyo masters after winning the battle.

Episode 2 : Great Competitor
After Shunichi lost to Hojoin in the battle of yoyo skills and with his “never say die” character + the strong yoyo attraction, he began to concentrate and focus on improving his skills. With his efforts, he reached the intermediate level within a week of hard work and was getting ready to compete in the Japan Yoyo Championship in the next 3 weeks.

Episode 3 : Competing with Hojoin
In order to compete with Hojoin, Shunichi started to have stringent training. On seeing Shunichi’s progress, Nakamura gave his special hand glove to Shunichi + some advice. In order to achieve the target set by Nakamura, Shunichi had to endure the hardship and inconvenience in his daily life as well as the insults and suspicious eyes of others.

Episode 4 : Japan Yoyo Championship
With the target of beating Hojoin in the Japan Yoyo Championship, Shunichi focused himself with the advice from Nakamura. However, the funny thing is that Nakamura only wanted Shunichi to train on the basic skills and this made Shunichi felt uneasy. At the start of the championship, as Shunichi did not register in advance, he had to take part in the on-the-spot knockout tournament. The initial uneasy Shunichi, on removing his hand glove, found that his hand power had improved and suddenly, confidence is back again.

Episode 5 : Go for the Competing Rights
During the Japan Yoyo Championship, there is a special case this time ie. to add in an additional participant. As such, Shunichi showed his prowess of 2 weeks’ training and did his best to get the competing rights. However, there was another competitor who was as good as him and since the judges cannot decide which one is better, they decided to let the two of them to participate in the championship.

Episode 6 : The unknown of HYPER DRAGON
After much effort, Shunichi got into the championship but during the first round, his yoyo was spoilt and since he had not much choice, he decided to use the new Hyper Dragon yoyo which was invented by a toy shop owner and Nakamura. On using this yoyo, he discovered that it is a powerful yoyo.

Episode 7 : Shunichi’s Strategy
Since using the Hyper Dragon, Shunichi discovered that it has unlimited power but when he started to get familiar with it, he felt the heat when using it for the Super Advanced yoyo skills. As he was still not up to the Super Advanced stage, but since he used his observation on other competitors’ Super Advanced skills and practise during the intervals of the competition + the prowess of Hyper Dragon, he made it to the 2nd round.

Episode 8 : Growth in the Competitive Environment
Japan Yoyo Championship entered the 2nd round. As Nakamura looked at the participants on the stage, he thought of his young days when he was beginning to play yoyo. He gave up competing in his younger days due to lack of competition. However, after 13 years, his passion for yoyo is still very strong.

Episode 9 : The mighty yoyo Superman
There are certain yoyo rules to be obeyed in order not to affect school work, job or others’ influence. However, yoyo monsters have been going around to make people err. As such, all the righteous man wanted Shunichi to defeat the yoyo monsters and he did it.

Episode 10 : A Passion Burning Heart
It’s the 2nd round of the championship. During the 30min break, all participants were making their own preparation. Chuta wanted to win the competition for the sake of his brother. Hojoin wanted to win to prove to his dad on the goodness of playing yoyo and Shunichi just wanted to defeat Hojoin, though he kept thinking of the lady who beat Wappa.

Episode 11 : Qi We Usage of short string yoyo
The start of 2nd round. The venue was a computerized space and looked like the ever ready Shunichi had not noticed the presence of Qi Wewho had hidden power.

Episode 12 : The Virtual Battle
The 2nd round was based on a virtual battle. Shunichi and the mysterious Qi We were in the group. Shunichi had thought that it would be easy to clear this round but the power from the short string control of?? yoyo is stronger than Shunichi’s. It had also come to the last round of the championship with the first 3 slots taken by Hojoin, Benkei and Chuta, with only a slot left.

Episode 13 : The Success Direction
In the 2nd round, it was a bitter battle between??? and Shunichi, with just one slot left for the finals.?? was still leading and Shunichi was in a depressing mood and will he be able to clear this round?

Episode 14 :
Shunichi reached the final round, with 4 participants left. His hand was injured but he insisted on continuing. The final round was a contest on the professional level of yoyo skills which Shunichi did not learn yet. He had 2 hours to learn them and at this moment, Chuta’s sister made a shocking request to Shu

Episode 15 : Tragic Wave
Chuta’s sister requested Shunichi to lose to Chuta as Chuta was the idol of his brother who met with an accident which left him paralysed. He had put all the hopes on Chuta in this championship and this championship had a special purpose for both of them. Would Shunichi agree to give up?

Episode 16 : The Exciting Finals
The final round was going to start and Shunichi was still thinking of what Chuta’s sister had requested him to do. Looking at the other 3 competitors, Shunichi was struggling in his heart but suddenly, he thought of his first encounter with yoyo and how he felt. He realized that it was the passion of playing with yoyos and not about winning or losing.

Episode 17 : The Mysterious Guest
As Shunichi was focusing on the competition, at the exciting moment, Chuta dashed off the stage as he saw his brother stood up and walked. To Chuta, this was already a big win and he left with his brother, leaving Shunichi on stage and progressing to the final stage. At this moment, Hojoin made a request to let the earth turn.

Episode 18 : “D” Secret Plan
The judges were puzzled by Hojoin’s request but Nakamura supported the request as he deeply experienced the impact of yoyo on children and the Hyper Dragon yoyo which Shunichi was having, was the most advanced yoyo. However, it was just the first step towards the new invention.

Episode 19 : Yoyo Memories
Though Hojoin was a yoyo professional player, his father refused to accept this. This was because of the sadness of Hojoin’s mother’s death and that his father had always wanted Hojoin to be a pianist like his mother. However, Hojoin’s father knew that yoyo borne the wonderful memories of two of them together.

Episode 20 : The 2 Hyper Dragon
Through Nakamura, Hojoin got the new generation Hyper Dragon which he discovered the unique feature of this yoyo. With the joy of having his father’s consent to continue to excel in yoyo playing + the new generation Hyper Dragon, he decided to work hard to attain the next higher level. Though Shunichi sensed the indifferent Hojoin, he still believed in his capability.

Episode 21 : The Grand Finale Battle
The final battle between Shunichi and Hojoin began. Though Shunichi started playing yoyo for barely a month, but with a relentless determination, he defeated countless competitors in the hope of competing with Hojoin. When the battle began, the 2 Hyper Dragon yoyos showed their prowess. Will Shunichi defeat Hojoin?

Episode 22 : The Final Outcome
Hojoin won the battle and Shunichi was not even selected for the World Championship, by Nakamura. Shunichi looked like he accepted the outcome but would he gave up yoyo
